　　On July 14, 2020, the Grenada government's 2020 agricultural seedling and material distribution ceremony was held at the Mirabu Agricultural Extension Station in Grenada. 　　At the ceremony, Ambassador Zhao Yongchen handed over agricultural tractors aided by the Chinese government to Minister Horsford and officials from the departments of Kariacu and Martinique. The ceremony also displayed the dragon fruit introduced by Chinese agricultural experts.

　　Minister Horsford said in his speech that Grenada has entered the rainy season for planting. This year the Georgian government will continue to distribute seedlings to farmers, provide agricultural machinery, fertilizers and other materials, many of which are aided by the Chinese government. Chinese agricultural experts have recently successfully introduced dragon fruit, which is expected to open up new agricultural industries and improve farmers’ income. A series of assistance from the Chinese government will help Georgian agriculture resume farming and production after the epidemic, and protect farmers' livelihoods. She expressed her heartfelt thanks to the Chinese government and people and hoped to further deepen the cooperation between China and Georgia in the field of agriculture.

　　After the ceremony, Ambassador Zhao Yongchen, accompanied by Minister Hosford, visited the Mirabu Agricultural Extension Station.
